1. AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD - Bring either one: a birth certificate, a learner's permit, a state-issued ID, or a valid passport.
2. COURSE COMPLETION - Note: The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) requires a student to be present on the first day of class. Along with the MVA procedures, a student shall be allowed to finish the classroom (30 hours) and behind-the-wheel (6 hours) instructions within 18 weeks from the first day of class unless the student/parents request in writing for an extension. If the course is not completed within 12 months from the first day of class, the student will be assessed $25.00 a month for each and every late month.
3. MISSED CLASSES - Student must make up missed classes and must not miss more than 12 hours (4 days.). Otherwise, he/she retakes all classes. To make up, call office at (301) 984-6062. Ask for seat availability and get a seat number. For Sunday make-up class, the instructor's fee is $50.00 per session for one or more students altogether.
4. UNIT TEST/FINAL - There are 9 unit tests and 1 final test. A student must have a passing score of at least 80% on each test. For remedial or additional instruction, the fee is $25.00.
5. BTW DRIVING POLICY - Valid learner's permit is required. The student must have finished the 30 hours classroom instructions. A 30 hours of preliminary driving with parent/mentor is strongly encouraged.
6. CANCELLATION FEE - When a student cancels a driving appointment in less than 24 hours notice or fail to appear at the pick-up location, a fee of $30.00 applies.
7. REFUND POLICY - All fees must be paid a week before class starts. Automatically, unpaid applications are cancelled. Full refund when the school receives a written request 72 hours before the first day of class. If less than 72 hours, a cancellation fee of $95 will be deducted from the refund amount. After first day of class, all payments are non-refundable. .
8. CLASS SIZE - Minimum of 10 students to start a class. A maximum of 30 students per MVA regulations. All enrolled students must be present on Day One and must continue until Day Ten. Parent of students under 18 years of age are courteously invited to attend orientation session on Day One.
9. ELECTRONIC CERTIFICATION - After completion of the driving course, the student may check his/her driving record at the MVA, 3 business days thereafter.
10. EXTRA BTW HOURS- Automatic only. $100/2 hours for additional instruction or road test.
11. DISORDERLY CONDUCT - The school reserves the right to dismiss a student who continuously disrupts the class, either by misbehaving or by persistently talking. No credit hour and/or refund is given. If student is a minor, the school official will report the incident to the parent/guardian.
12. EXPULSION - The school reserves the right to expel a student who deliberately vandalizes or unlawfully removes any school properties. The student and/or parent or guardian shall be held responsible for the cost of any repair or replacement. There shall be no refund on tuition fee.
